AW-UE150A

Please select an SFP+ module that complies with the MSA standard, with the MOD-DEF0 pin internally connected to Ground.
AW-UE150A, AW-UE160 and AW-UR100 detect the inserted SFP+ module with the MOD_DEF0 pin and control the power supply.

The main differences in features and specifications are as follows:

Simultaneously with outputting the entire video captured in UHD (3840 x 2160), you can output a crop zoom and cropped video.
You can specify up to three cropping positions, and operate them from the remote camera controllers AW-RP150, AW-RP60 or via the web interface.
The cropped video can be output from 12G-SDI, SFP, HDMI, 3G-SDI 1, and IP.
*The 12G-SDI and SFP terminals are fixed to Crop, and the 3G-SDI 2 terminal is fixed to Full.
*The HDMI terminal, 3G-SDI 1 terminal, and IP can be set to either Crop or Full.
*The CROP function is enabled when [System Format] is set to:
[Crop(1080): 2160/59.94p, 2160/50p, 2160/29.97p, 2160/25p, 2160/24p, 2160/23.98p]
[Crop(720): 2160/59.94p, 2160/50p]

This unit comes standard with High bandwidth NDI and NDI|HX functions.
There is no need to purchase an additional license.

The output format for High bandwidth NDI conforms to the settings of the port selected in the following menu:
　・Web Interface: Setup < Video over IP < Streaming mode < Output Source (High bandwidth NDI) → [12G SDI/Opt, 3G SDI 1, 3G SDI 2] → [Set]

The output format for IP and NDI|HX conforms to the settings of the port selected in the following menu:
　・Web Interface: Setup < Video over IP < Streaming mode < Output Source (IP/NDI|HX) → [12G SDI/Opt, 3G SDI 1, 3G SDI 2] → [Set]

The HDMI output format conforms to the settings of the port selected in the following menus.
　・Camera Menu: Output < HDMI < Output Source → [12G SDI/Opt, 3G SDI 1, 3G SDI 2]
　・Web Interface: Setup < System < Output < HDMI < Output Source → [12G SDI/Opt, 3G SDI 1, 3G SDI 2]

You can invert the output video using the following menu:
　・Camera Menu: Pan/Tilt < Install Position → Hanging (ceiling mount) ※Default: Desktop (tabletop mount)
　・Web Interface: Setup < System < Pan/Tilt < Install Position → Hanging (ceiling mount) → [Set] ※Default: Desktop (tabletop mount)

It is possible. You can set the initial position for PAN/TILT/ZOOM using the following menu:
Camera Menu: Pan/Tilt < Power On Position → Select from [None, Standby, Home, Preset].

It is possible. This unit can initialize only the user authentication settings and host authentication settings for network connection.
At this time, all registered users (IDs/passwords) and host information (IP addresses) will be deleted.
(Procedure)
1. With the service switches on the camera’s terminal side set as shown below, turn on the power.

2. When the status indicator on the front of the camera blinks green, turn off the power, return the service switches to their original positions (all SW1?SW4 OFF), and then restart the camera.

Up to 14 devices can access simultaneously.
However, depending on the network communication bandwidth used by this device, the number of users that can access it may be restricted to fewer than 14.
When the Transmission Type setting is [Unicast Port (Auto/Manual)], up to 14 devices can simultaneously access a single camera.
When the Transmission Type setting is [Multicast Port], an unlimited number of users can simultaneously access a single camera.

This unit detects the presence of an optical fiber module and turns the power supply to the SFP+ connector on/off accordingly.
However, some optical fiber modules may not be detected.
By changing [SFP+ Power] to [On] on the [Connector Setting] screen, you can turn on the power supply to the module even if it is not detected.
Camera menu: Maintenance < Connector Setting < SFP+ Power → [On]

The same signal selected for 12G-SDI is output.

This is the connector for the SFP+ optical fiber module.
By connecting an optional fiber module, the SDI signal is converted to an optical signal and output.
Please select a fiber module that matches the signal bandwidth for each format.
*For video transmission only; does not support optical signal input or network connections.

This device does not have a built-in microphone. Please connect an external microphone (sold separately).
※When using an external microphone, audio-related settings in the camera menu must be configured.

The LAN port is equipped with an automatic recognition function.

There is no recommended external DC power supply.

Power from the external DC power supply takes priority.
If you disconnect the external DC power supply while both are connected, the unit will automatically restart, during which there will be no video output, so please be aware.

This unit complies with the PoE++ (IEEE802.3bt) standard.
Use Category 5e or higher STP LAN cables (up to 100 m).

The network functions of the AW-UE150A will not operate unless an initial account is configured.
An initial account must also be configured when connecting via network to a remote controller (AW-RP150 or AW-RP60) or an external control device.
A computer is required to configure the initial account.
For instructions on configuring the initial account, refer to "Setting the Initial Account" in the AW-UE150A Operating Instructions

If the initial account is not configured, the AW-UE150A can be discovered by an AW-RP150 or AW-RP60,
but control cannot be performed because the connection with the remote controller is not established.
* Control is possible without configuring an account when using a serial connection.
