I can not copy a whole 64GB card to HDD.

When a memory card that has capacity larger than 32GB (such as AJ-P2M064AG) is used, copy operation of the whole card is not available from the USB host function. Please copy clips one by one.

My microP2 card is not recognized.

* Before you try to insert the card again, please start up P2 Viewer Plus to check the properties of the card. On the other hand, the CardBus driver cannot recognize microP2 card. So, please use the microP2 drive (AJ-MPD1).

* When the CPS item in the properties of unrecognized card is “AUTH NG”, that card is CPS-encoded. Please click the authentication button and enter the correct password. If a card is CPS-encoded and its password authentication fails 15 times, it will be locked so that you can not view its contents.
Look for similar articles: “AUTH NG” is displayed and the card is not recognized.

* Before you put a microP2 card into the microP2 card adapter (AJ-P2AD1G) to use it, please format it on compatible P2 equipment or P2 Viewer Plus.

It is displayed as Unknown on Mac, or as Unformatted on Windows.

When you use P2 Viewer Plus on Mac PC, an unformatted microP2 card or SD card is displayed as Unknown. If you perform formatting on the function of P2 Viewer Plus, it will be formatted correctly.

When the FORMAT button is grayed out and can not be operated on P2 Viewer Plus, P2 Driver software has to be installed. Formatter is installed together with it so that the formatting function of P2 Viewer Plus is enabled.

What will happen if I insert a microP2 card into SD Card Reader or built-in SD card slot on PC that does not support microP2?

When a memory card is in the CardBus, the SD slot on PC or the SD card reader, it is recognized as an SDHC / SDXC card but not a microP2 card.

If this microP2 card already has a clip, it can be played / copied on P2 Viewer Plus. But its playback / copy speed is slower than that of microP2 Drive. And CPS encoding is not possible because it is not recognized as a microP2 card.

Automatic Authentication Password for "Content Protection System" security function

You can register only one Automatic Authentication Password with each of your PC and P2 equipment. (Registration with PC via P2 Viewer Plus, with P2 equipment via GUI menu)

If you have Automatic Authentication Password registered, decoding will be automatically performed when the password matches that of encoded microP2 card inserted. (You do not have to run P2 Viewer Plus.)

If the password of a card does not match your Automatic Authentication Password, you need to decode the card manually (from P2 Viewer Plus on PC, from GUI menu on P2 equipment).

“AUTH NG” is displayed and the card is not recognized.

Please enter your password in the manual authentication mode. If the password authentication fails 15 times, the card will be locked so that you can not view its contents.
If you insert a card when you do not know the password, that insertion will be counted as one failure in authentication. If you take out and insert the card again and again (and that reaches 15 times), the card will be locked again.
A locked card only can be formatted.
