(Processing of Personal Data in Japan)

We will comply with Japanese laws, regulations, and other norms concerning the protection of Personal Data and provides this notification document (this “Notice”), in addition to the Privacy Notice, in accordance with our Personal Data Protection Policy. It will also process and manage your Personal Data in the proper manner as set forth below.

When you use our Services in Japan, please understand the terms of this Notice as well as the Privacy Notice. This Notice will apply in priority to the Privacy Notice.

Handling of Personal Data
Before using this service, we ask that you understand and agree to the contents of this Privacy Notice.

4. Provision of Personal Data

We will not provide your personal data to third parties except in the following cases.

• (1) With the consent of the person in question
• (2) When based on laws and regulations
• (3) When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person
• (4) When entrusting all or part of the handling of Personal Data to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use
• (5) When Personal Data is provided in connection with business succession due to merger or other reasons
• (6) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the person is likely to interfere with the execution of the affairs.

We may jointly use Personal Data within the scope indicated below:

• (1) Categories of jointly used Personal Data: Your Full Name, affiliation information (company name, industry, country name), contact information (address, phone number, email address), etc.
• (2) Scope of persons who jointly use Personal Data: Our group affiliates (https://connect.panasonic.com/jp-ja/about/profile/office#group) , Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Co., Ltd.
• (3) Purposes of use of the persons who jointly use Personal Data: Within the scope of purposes to use your Personal Data set out in "4. How do we use your Personal Data (purpose and legal basis)? "of the Privacy Notice.
• (4) Person responsible for management of jointly used Personal Data: Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd.

6. Processing of Pseudonymously Processed Information

• (1) We may process pseudonymously processed information (limited to that falling under Personal Data; the same applies in this section). In this case, we will process pseudonymously processed information in compliance with laws, regulations, and (2) below.
• (2) We will process pseudonymously processed information as follows:
•   (2)-1. Except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations, we will use pseudonymously processed information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
•   (2)-2. Except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations, we will not provide pseudonymously processed information to any third parties.

7. Measures Taken for Safety Management

In order to prevent the leakage, loss, damage, etc. of Personal Data (including Personal Data acquired or intended to be acquired by us) (hereinafter referred to as "leakage, etc."), we have established a Personal Data protection policy and have taken the following measures.

•  • We have appointed a person responsible for the protection of personal data and have established a system for the protection of personal data.
•  • We provide regular education and training to employees regarding matters to be noted when handling personal data.
•  • We take measures to prevent unauthorized access to and removal of personal data by taking physical measures such as controlling entry and exit from zones where personal data is handled.
•  • Depending on the information, we take measures such as restricting access, obtaining access trails, and encrypting data, as well as introducing mechanisms to protect information systems from unauthorized external access or software.
•  • When personal data is stored in a foreign country, we take security control measures after understanding the system for protecting personal data in that foreign country.
•  • In the event that personal data handled by us are leaked, we will take appropriate measures, such as reporting to the Personal Information Protection Committee and notifying the person in question, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
