Panasonic introduced AVCCAM at NAB2008. AVCCAM is a new, professional line up supporting the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (AVCHD) format.

The AVCCAM achieves extended HD recording, featuring twice the

compression efficiency of HDV (MPEG-2).

Now you can register AVCCAM series and P2 products including the AG-HVX200 series in addition to P2HD series.

- Service histories can be viewed for all your units in one database

together with your P2HD.
- Registered units can quickly be filtered by "location" and "model number".

The AVCHD Transcoder converts AVCHD clips shot by AVCCAM to P2

DVCPRO HD format. You can start editing without waiting until your

Nonlinear editing system supports AVCHD.

Just use the AVCHD transcoder to get you going!

The version 1.2 supports files that are bigger than 4GB to meet

the capability of large file handling on the AG-HMC70 series.
