  • 34. When recalling a preset memory with the controller, the white balance setting changes.

    There is a [Preset Scope] setting in the camera menu that selects the items to be called when recalling preset memory.

    When the [Preset Scope] setting is [Mode A] (initial setting value), the white balance is called with the setting value at the time of registration.

    If you do not want to recall the white balance setting when playing preset memory, please set the [Preset Scope] to [Mode B] or [Mode C].

     • Menu: [Preset] > [Preset 1/2] > [Preset Scope] → [Mode A/B/C]

  • 27. The camera is in the same network with AW-RP150 (or AW-RP60), and the connection settings are complete, but the camera is not recognized from AW-RP150 (or AW-RP60).

    The network function of AW-UE100 does not work unless the initial account is set.

    When connecting to the network with AW-RP150, AW-RP60, you also need to set up an initial account.

    The initial account setup requires a computer.

    To configure the initial account, please refer to the “Setting Up the Initial Account” section in the simplified version of the AW-UE100 user manual.

    If the initial account is not set up, the AW-RP150 can recognize the AW-UE100, but control will not be possible.

    - In the case of serial connection, recognition is still possible even without configuring the account.

  • 25. What is the Crop function?

    The Crop function allows you to output cropped images (FHD (1920×1080), HD (1280×720)) from the UHD signal through the 3G SDI output terminal and LAN terminal.

    You can specify the cropping position from up to three places, and you can operate it from the remote camera controller: AW-RP150, AW-RP60, and the web screen. In addition, with the cropping zoom function, you can zoom in the cropped image up to 5 times. *The image quality will drop.

    - The 12G SDI output terminal and HDMI terminal output downscaled UHD video to FHD or HD when the Crop function is enabled. Additionally, the cropped image is not output.

    - The cropped image can be output from the 3G SDI output, NDI output, IP output 1, and IP output 2

        *IP output 1: Applies to CH1 (H.264(1), H.265(1), JPEG(1)) streaming video.

        *IP output 2: Applies to CH2–CH4 (H.264(2)–(4), H.265(2)–(4), JPEG(2)–(4)) streaming video. 

        *In [NDI|HX] Streaming Mode, IP output 1 and IP output 2 operate in tandem.

        *The following values cannot be set in Streaming Mode: H.264(UHD)、H.265(UHD)、JPEG(UHD)、RTMP(UHD)、SRT(H.264 UHD)、SRT(H.265 UHD)

    Yes, you can. This device can only initialize the user authentication settings and host authentication settings when connecting to the Network.

    At this time, all registered users (ID/password) and host information (IP address) will be deleted.

    (Procedure)

    1. Turn on the power with the IR ID switch and service switch on the camera terminal side set as follows.

    2. When initialization is complete, the status indicator lamp on the front of the camera will flash green.

    Return the switch to its original state (all SW1~SW4 off) and restart the camera.

    However, depending on the network communication bandwidth used by the device, the number of users who can access may be limited to less than 14.

    If the Transmission type setting is [Multicast port], an unlimited number of terminals can access one camera simultaneously.
