Camera System

  • The behavior of PoE-powered devices on the network become unstable.

     If two or more PoE-powered devices (e.g. AW-RP150, AK-MSU1000) are connected on the same network, the behavior of those devises may become unstable.

    Please refer to the "Compatibility Chart for PoE HUB" for more information.

    Alternatively, we recommend to use AC adapters for power supply to avoid unstable behavior.

     

    Note: Please make sure that LLDP is enabled on your network switch.

  • Cannot connect AJ-CX4000 and AK-HRP1000

     Under the following conditions, the connection between AJ-CX4000 and AK-HRP1000 will not be established.

    1. Regarding the AJ-CX4000 user account, it is possible to register multiple accounts with the same user name and different passwords for each.

    However, even if the user name and password of the multiple registered user accounts are set on the AK-HRP1000, connection will not be established.

    When connecting CX4000 and HRP1000, set a user name and password for a unique user account.

     

    2. When connecting, if the menu or thumbnail screen is displayed on the AJ-CX4000 side, connection will not be established.

    Also, after the connection is established, the thumbnail screen cannot be opened.

  • The OPTICAL LEVEL of the AK-UCU600 does not rise, and the CAM RCV LVL NG warning is displayed. Please tell me how to deal with it.

     We recommend cleaning the optical cable connector.

    This symptom is caused by the attenuation of the optical signal level between the camera and the CCU.

    One of the causes is dirt on the optical cable joint.

    Clean all connectors on the CCU side and camera side of the optical cable, and all joints between them.

     (Including the connector on the CCU body side)

     

    In particular, dirt is easily adsorbed on the connector on the CCU body side and the connector on the cable side that is inserted into the camera.

    In some cases, you may need to run it about three times.

     

    If the problem persists, please contact the store where you purchased the product or the service counter.

    The cleaning method may differ depending on the structure of the connector.

     Check with the optical cable manufacturer or distributor.

  • I cleaned the optical cable connector, but the CAM RCV LVL NG warning did not disappear.

     Clean the connector about 3 times.

    In particular, dirt easily adhere to the connector on the CCU body side and the connector on the cable side that is inserted into the camera, and it may not be improved by one cleaning.

     

    If the problem persists, please contact the store where you purchased the product or the service counter.
