File Transfers

3. Files can not be transferred correctly.
In the following cases, file transfer is not possible.
・The file size is 2GB or more.
Please confirm that "AVCHD FILE SIZE" in the menu is set to "2GB".

・The contents are recorded in DV mode.
It is only AVCHD files in the Streaming folder and still image or video files in the DCIM folder that can be transferred via the Eye-Fi card.

・In the file transfer process via a router to a PC or tablet computer, the communication is cut off between them.
In this case, the Eye-Fi card shows that the file transfer is in progress. But please note that the file is not actually being transferred to its recipient device.

・The write-protect switch on the Eye-Fi card is in the "LOCK" position.
The camera issues a command to the Eye-Fi card to execute the transfer. But,when the card is "locked",the command can not be valid. Please unlock the write-protect switch in using the card.

・"BATTERY MANAGEMENT" in the menu is set to "AC",but the camera is operating with its battery power.
When the camera operates using its battery power after the "AC" is selected at "BATTERY MANAGEMENT","EYE-FI FUNCTION" automatically switches to "OFF". So when the "BATTERY MANAGEMENT" is "AC",please use the AC adaptor. Also it should be noted that, when "BATTERY MANAGEMENT" is set to "80%" or "50%" and the remaining battery charge is less than this percentage,"EYE-FI FUNCTION" switches to "OFF"

・Several file transfers are being executed from different Eye-Fi cards to one recipient device (PC,tablet computer, etc) at the same time.

Status Icons

6. Data transfer is not in Direct Mode, but the D icon is displayed.

Power-OFF Operations

7. When the power switch is turned to the OFF position during the file transfer, the camera does not turn off.
Even if the power switch is turned to the OFF position during the file transfer, the camera does not turn off. After the file transfer is completed,it automatically turns off.
