AVCCAM Compatibility information with non-linear editing
The following table shows the compatibility information of AVCHD files with non-linear editing systems (As of October 2010)

 iMovie ,etc.(Apple)
   When editing AVCHD files transferred to a Mac, Apple provides
editing programs "iMovie", "Final Cut Express", "Final Cut Pro". *3)

Those programs have a "Log & Transfer" function that converts
AVCHD files to a quicktime based intermediate file for editing.

 Windows Media Player ,etc.(Microsoft)
   AVCCAM Viewer supports 32-bit versions of Windows 7,
Windows Vista, and Windows XP.

AVCHD files can also be played back by Media Player in
Windows 7, even on a 64-bit PC, using the following procedure. *4)

1. Copy all of the AVCHD files under the PRIVATE folder.
 The folder structure is as below.
 \PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\STREAM
2. Go to the STREAM folder and there should be ".mts" or ".m2ts" files.
3. Playback those files by the media player directly.
