When AJ-YDX30 is installed on AJ-HPX3100 and updating is performed with this data, the software of both AJ-HPX3100 and AJ-YDX30 is updated at a time.
When AJ-YDX30 is not installed on AJ-HPX3100, only AJ-HPX3100’s software is updated.

Please always apply the latest software version to both AJ-HPX3100 and AJ-YDX30.
Software update takes approx. 50 - 60 min. Do not power down or pull card while updating.

  1. Proxy File Streaming Function is added.
    Using WEB browsers of Mac/Windows PC as well as mobile devices such as iPod touch or iPad, the proxy videos recorded in AJ-HPX3100G can be viewed, etc.
    P2 Proxy File Streaming is supported and the videos can be checked while being recorded.

    But, depending on radio wave conditions or operating environment, the streaming function may not work correctly and the restart of WEB application or AJ-HPX3100G itself may be required.
  2. Camera Remote Control (REC operation only)

2. AUTO REC Function supports TYPE3.
REC operation of external devices such as a recorder, etc. connected to SDI OUT or MON OUT terminal can be controlled (on HD SDI output).

3. CAC File related functions are improved.
1) 32GB SDHC Memory Card is supported.
2) Canon’s new lens is supported.

Preparation
for Upgrade		 Copy the update file of the software (firmware) to an SD Memory Card to prepare the SD Memory Card for writing.
Please update the software (firmware) of the unit by using this SD Memory Card for writing.
Updating should be performed referring to the procedures separately put on the site.
(It is recommended that the procedures should be printed out before updating.)
