All the data of AW-HEF5SG/HG Upgrade Kit, which has been provided as a CD-ROM, can be downloaded.

  1. Latest Software Ver. 2
    ・Camera Main: Ver. 2.21
    ・Network: Ver. 2.07

    Compared with Ver. 1, issues with displaying, etc. have been improved.
    Also, an occasional issue of no returning from standby state has been corrected.
    Dynamic DNS function is no longer available because this service has ended. So AW-HE50 can not be accessed via Internet.
    For updating the data, please refer to the firmware upgrade procedure separately, and follow the procedure shown there.(It is recommended that the pages should be printed out in advance for easy reference.)

  2. Extended Functions
    ・R/B Gain Adjustments
    ・16-Axis Color Matrix
    ・Increased Format settings

    To enable these extended functions, please acquire the License (FREE Registration Key) from this website and register it in AW-HE50 camera. Access the following URL for registration.

    For details, refer to the Operating Instructions for Upgrade Kit. (Registration in Key Management System is not required.)

Preparation
for Upgrade		 Outline of Update Connect PC with AW-HE50 using straight LAN cable via Switching Hub. Download the software (firmware). Access the top screen (control screen) of AW-HE50 from the WEB browser on PC to perform the update.

<CPU> Intel Core2 DUO 2.4 GHz or faster recommended
<MEMORY> 512 MB or more, When using Windows Vista 1 GB or more,
                    and when using Windows 7: 1 GB [32 bits] or 2 GB [64 bits] or more
<Network function>10Base-T or 100Base-TX port 1
<Image display function> Resolution: 1024 768 pixels or more, Color generation:True Color 24 bits or more

 Windows 7 Professional 32/64-bit (*1) , IE 8.0 (*2)
